It means so much to me that you would visit my site and give it a read. I hope that what I share here inspires you to find some answers, some direction and some enjoyment as move ahead in your day. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I’ve been making the trek from Naples, FL to Denver, CO, to make a home there once again with my husband and partner, Jeff. I have continued my dedication to making a fulfilling life for myself and that means taking the occasional risk and beginning new adventures. To have made this move with my best friend fills the day’s tasks with lots of laughs, honesty, pausing and lessons which I’m grateful to be able to share in my blog.

I want to give a big thanks to all for the support of my latest book, “My Life According To The Alphabet,” for sale through Amazon, Apple Books and Good Reads. The book is a memoir of my life well-lived, inspired by decades of experience in the field of mental health and recovery. In it I share the twists and turns I’ve taken through motherhood, being a wife, a friend, a colleague, a therapist, a writer, painter and singer.

I’m excited to share below a recording I did with Naples guitarist, Peter Fleming, of a great Sara Bareilles song, “Someone Who loves Me,” that was recorded and produced by my talented and loving son, Patrick Meese. I received this amazing finished product as a Mother’s Day gift from him and my son, Nate Meese who coordinated and posted it on this site. Nate also developed and manages this site for me. Receiving this from my boys is a full circle experience as my love of music comes back around to me through my cherished relationships with them. I love it and I hope you enjoy it!
